I've been putting thoughts to paper since I was a teenager, and I expect to continue doing so long after I've passed on or reincarnated or ascended to the next level of existence. As long as they have some form of a word processor where I end up, all will be cool.

SUBMISSION CIRCULATION: I currently have two flash fiction stories and one audio fiction story out in circulation, looking for good homes. I'm holding back flash story number three for a contest in April.
IN THE WORKS:
Metzgerhund Retreat (YA short story series):The first half of the series is choreographed exactly the way I want it, so I'm spending some time piecing together the last half of the series, being mindful of how it were merge in with the novel. Here's where everything stands now:
* 1 story in the hands of proofreaders
* 1 story in editing phase
* 4 stories in writing phase
* 11 stories in various states of the drawing board phase
* 4 stories on the tentative list
* 4 stories slated for a second short story series
Mainstream novel: Most of this story has been written. I'm going through the entire manuscript...editing to tighten it up, rewriting where necessary, and churning out entirely new passages whenever a change in direction seems like a good idea.
Science fiction short story number one: This one is a sequel of sorts to a short story I wrote years ago. The original quickly became outdated and ultimately grew stale, but the vision of its 'sequel' grew a life of its own, Currently, I'm reworking the order of events, slightly altering my cast of characters, and writing the first two scenes. Since I'm considering taking this one directly to e-publishing, I am also designing the cover art.
Science fiction short story number two: This story is a bit of an experiment for me, so I'm taking my time and enjoying the unfamiliar sights and experiences along the way. Currently, I'm enhancing my featured alien race, and working out a few points where the story's vision isn't so well defined.
Flash Fiction story number one: Watching my cat and two dogs interact one night gave me an idea for a new story...although, according to my first draft (audio), this one might end up too long for the 'flash' category.
Flash Fiction story number two: This one was inspired by a photo I saw online one day. As an experiment, I'm only spending a half hour each time I work on it; this experiment has led to a better version than I originally planned.
Flash Fiction story number three: In its original form, this one reads more like an essay than a story, so I'm working on adding a bit more life to it.
Flash Fiction story number four: This one is based on a few specific dream images that tend to revisit me every so often.
